Hi there. My name is Sydney and I am growing my business as a New York based Virtual Assistant. I attended Cornell University for undergrad and Columbia for graduate school. For the first 15 years of my professional life, I worked in various roles in both the federal and local government and am currently raising my two children in New York City.
You might think to yourself that that's a unique resume for a person embarking on a Virtual Assistant journey. But realistically, it's actually been a perfect education in this process. During my time in the government, many of my roles required extreme organization and planning—two of my greatest assets. In my job as a stay at home mom, I wear many hats—social coordinator, event planner, travel liaison, meal organizer, and so much more, qualities that have further honed my skills in the art of Getting Things Done. When given a task, I feel a compulsion to address it immediately and am not satisfied until everything is done to my tremendously high standards.
