Symerica Systems LLC is a silicon valley technology startup. Founded in 2010, the company mission is to build and deliver a class of problem solving paradigms that incorporate expert know-how represented as symbolic logic, evolving into powerful frameworks by learning actionable information from numerical metrics gathered over time. In most domains, some human expertise is available, albeit incomplete. Using this to bootstrap, symerica systems self-monitor their performance, adapting and reconfiguring to deliver better performance in future. All our work is done in the context of massive volumes of distributed data. After experimenting with a range of data-driven methods, we converged on a distilled flow of decision steps that can be applied to any domain.
