Synthesites develops and manufactures intelligent process monitoring systems for advanced composites manufacturing processes using durable and disposable sensors for in-mould, in-pot and inline non-intrusive sensors for resin arrival and cure monitoring. By measuring the resin’s electrical resistance and temperature real-time information on viscosity, gelation, Tg and degree-of-cure can be provided allowing important insight for the on-going process and leading to optimal filling and curing. This feedback has been used for the automatic quality and optimal process control at industrial environment for applications in Aerospace, automotive and wind energy. Furthermore, Synthesites provides support for the optimal use of the process monitoring systems as well as turnkey solutions for the automation of composites production for Resin Transfer Moulding, Light RTM, vacuum infusion, SMC and filament winding.
