SynthRx Inc

SynthRx is a start-up pharmaceutical company developing innovative therapeutic applications for poloxamer based polymers. It was founded by Dr. Robert Hunter, Pathology Department at University of Texas Houston. The novel technology was originally developed by Dr. Hunter when he was at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia that was earlier licensed to CytRx Corporation. Later in 2003, Dr. Hunter licensed the technology and the extensive clinical and pre-clinical information from CytRx Corporation to continue its development into an approved drug.
