Syphay Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant serving authentic Thai and Lao cuisine in Edmonton since 2004. The name "Syphay" originates from the owner's name "Sye" and "Phay". Their first location closed in 2019 after being open since 2004. Since then, they have opened a second location in downtown Edmonton in 2012, and a brand new location on the southside in 2020. Syphay Restaurant is currently managed and owned by Phay and Sye's eldest daughter, Katherine.
Syphay Restaurant was voted one of the top Thai Restaurants in Edmonton on Trip Advisor in 2018 and 2019.
