Imaging Technician Attendant
CurrentUtilizing basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to provide assistance to the radiologic technologist. Multitasker, with the ability to work on several projects at once as the Radiology Department is a fast pace environment. Skilled communicator, with excellent people skills, interacting with both health care professionals and patients on a constant basis. Experience working with computers. Ability to lift heavy as patient bed transfers are required.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assisting a radiologic technologist during the imaging process. Showing compassion and care for patients by transporting them to procedures, answering questions and preparing them for imaging procedures. Ensuring that patients are comfortable and at ease during the imaging process. Provides assistance to the radiologic technologist with duties like film processing, and data input. Communicates with other members of the health care team to coordinate patient care.Secondary TasksRequired to perform administrative tasks. This can include duties such as data entry, copying, faxing and filing. I am a team player who is willing to assist her colleagues with tasks that may go beyond the scope of her general duties. I am willing to provide assistance in an emergency situation, although assigned tasks may not be relative to the radiology department.
