Schilder and Brown are working with all aspects of the organic GIZA 86, meaning that we are capable of supplying you the raw cotton, a single yarn or readymade home knitting balls.
The hand picked cotton is grown in the Nile delta, and by using gentle treatment methods, it is ensured that no damage is done to the fibers. The result is a yarn with a very nice feeling - which makes the finished hand knitted project even more attractive.
From the crops, harvesting, processing to the final yarn, Schilder and Brown is aware of all its sources and the whole process from the field to the final product. Complete transparency and traceability enables Schilder and Brown and its partners to secure a high quality product. Our People and Eco friendly yarn prioritize both environment and human safety by producing in facilities, which are in compliance with international standards and certificates such as GOTS – "Global Organic Textile Standard", Fair trade, NOP, ISO and Demeter.
