It has been delilvered many times and has excellent references from results---including on-time deliveries up to 99%+, throughput rate increases at 50%+, decreases in Work-in-Process and all inventories at 25%+, large reductions in added costs like overtime and rush shipments, and true accolades for improvements in communications internally and externally with customers and vendors. OTTO is a great assist to all strategic/planning (like ERP/MRP/APS) modules, as it implodes all relevant data, tying it back directly to customer and shop orders and their line items, warning of those actions required where a "plan" is in danger of missing its schedule. It is a tactical/execution offering that requires no IT support.
OTTO is synonomous with the newer term "Rapid Priority Management," and has the backing of all its customers and all the consultants who are aware of it. It was developed in the manufacturing consulting community, with Dick Ling being the true "concept" person. OTTO has received the APICS "Excellence in Innovation" Award.
