SNABLIND was founded in 1903. We are the umbrella organisation of Swiss blind and deafblind organisations with over 65 member organisations. The aim of our work is to enable the more than 377,000 blind and visually impaired people and at least 57,000 people with deaf-blindness and hearing impairment in Switzerland to participate as fully as possible in social and community life. Our office is located in St. Gallen, with further centres in Lenzburg and Lausanne. We run specialist centres for hearing impairment and deaf-blindness in Bellinzona, Bern, Lausanne, Lenzburg, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Zurich.
