Philipp Süssmann Studio

Hey! I’m Philipp, I'm an Industrial Designer working at the intersection of product, soft good and furniture design. I opened PS studio in 2019 in Malmö, Sweden. After graduating from the School of Industrial Design in Lund with a Master of Fine Arts in Design and working as an In-house Designer at IKEA of Sweden. At PS studio I work with a variety of clients, whether it’s entrepreneurs who have a rough idea that they want to develop further, or established companies such as IKEA. I envision my studio to be a platform for projects and relationships to grow, a place where we come together to create simple, functional, well-crafted objects - drawing from everyday observation and defined opportunities. Experimentation, material knowledge and purpose-driven design should be key drivers during each process - constantly striving to uncover the essence of an idea.
