Team Evega Racing

Team Evega Racing is the official e-BAJA SAE team of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, focused on designing and fabricating electric all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) for national-level competitions like BAJA SAEINDIA. We are a passionate group of engineering students with core strengths in suspension systems, chassis design, vehicle dynamics, and electric powertrains. Our goal is to innovate in mobility, combining performance, efficiency, and sustainability. Every year, we take a hands-on approach to building a fully functional e-ATV—from initial design and simulation to manufacturing and testing. Our designs are backed by FEA, fatigue, and multibody dynamic analysis using industry-grade tools like SolidWorks, Altair Hyperworks, MotionSolve, and Lotus Suspension Simulation. We focus on optimizing weight, strength, and endurance while ensuring high safety standards. We’ve consistently achieved strong performance across various BAJA events, including acceleration, traction, maneuverability, suspension, and endurance tests. Our team has been sponsored by SolidWorks for 9+ years and is known for our innovative spirit, teamwork, and dedication.
