HISTORY CONSULTANCY AND RESEARCH Welcome to our Company page. We are passionate about and fascinated in military history. Our expertise includes work as a History teacher and lecturer with over 15 years’ experience in dealing with Modern History. We have specialist expertise in finding areas for conducting original research, creative writing and communicating with diverse audiences including members of the public, students and academics. Our work covers the following areas: • Historical Research and Evidencing • Presenting and Communication to diverse groups and audiences • Creative Writing • Thought Leadership Some of our main achievements and current projects includes: • Gained an MPhil Degree in original historical research on WW2. Recognised by academics in Scandinavian and Baltic history. • Developing a campaign to effect official recognition of an aspect of Britain’s involvement in the Second World War. • Delivered presentations and lectures which resulted in enthusiastic audience engagement. • Completed majority of a historical novel based on a true story set in Australia in 1940s and 50s. Scheduled for publication in early 2020. Conducted detailed research and drew together findings. • Carried out original research on a forgotten hero of British athletics • Achieved teaching qualification in the face of demanding and pressurised course environment. Balanced coursework assignments with preparation of lessons and marking. • Worked with high achieving year 11 students. Coached them with answering GCSE questions, went over answers and provided detailed feedback to class and individuals. Students took on board my ideas.
