Mission We believe in the symbiotic relationship between the arts. the fight for social justice, and the space inbetween which collapses boundaries across all fields, arts, sciences, economics, politics, civic engagement, and more. Our purpose is to provide to the Karen girls a creative platform that will enable them to discover new visions for illuminating the human spirit. About When serving those who face social, linguistic, and even physical barriers, we realize that the arts can provide a platform for the underprivileged to enhance their confidence and sense of self-efficacy. T2C recognizes the need for refugee youth to be developmentally prepared for college. Many Karen students receive zero college guidance in school systems and face tremendous language and cultural barriers in and outside the classroom. We understand that the arts alone is not the solution to bring about social transformation. However, it is our hope that by providing access to the performing arts in a supportive environment, we can become effective advocates.
