T2S was created in 1984 on the initiative of professionals to meet the expectations of international transport players and more specifically within the framework of exchanges between France and Italy.
At that time, the company launched its first subscription service for the Fréjus and Mont-Blanc Alpine tunnels. By subscribing, transporters benefit from special commercial conditions.
To ensure its development and meet the growing requirements of intra-community trade, T2S develops from the beginning of the 90s new services: the CAPLIS card to circulate on French motorways and a Viacard subscription to circulate on Italian motorways.
Always with the objective of responding pragmatically to the needs of its customers, T2S created in 2004, Consorzio T2S, a consortium dedicated to carriers operating on Italian motorways, enabling customers to benefit from the maximum discounts granted by the Italian State.
T2S expands its offer in 2005 by launching Trans Europea Servizi, a company specialising in the recovery of Intra-Community VAT.
In 2007, the end of CAPLIS subscriptions and the opening of the interoperable electronic toll collection market to private issuers enabled T2S to become the partner of Axxès, a key player in mobility for carriers.
Following the announcement of the implementation of the Ecotax in 2013, T2S is repositioning itself to offer carriers a quality/price-oriented solution in a tense economic context. With more than 30 years of experience working alongside carriers, T2S is now developing its activities and offers innovative mobility solutions by always listening to its customers.
