Since 1992, T3 has provided mainframe and alternate mainframe solutions to the small-middle sized mainframe user community. T3 was an IBM Premier Business Partner for zSeries from 1992 until 2002. Throughout that period, T3 remained one of IBM’s leading vendors for <500 MIPS mainframe solutions. In 2000, when IBM raised the bar on price, MIPS, and functionality and began designing mainframe systems only for the needs of its largest customers, T3 responded by becoming the largest integrator of emulated platforms for small and mid-sized users. This resulted in the tServer and Liberty product lines, serving over 600 mainframe customers in 28 countries!
In 2008, T3 embarked on a new path to provide what we consider today to be the best alternative for small and mid-sized mainframe data centers. T3 joined in a partnership with Microsoft, HP, and Micro Focus to develop an integrated, turn-key mainframe migration solution called Liberty 2.0. T3 selected our partners carefully to insure each component in the solution compliments, perfectly integrates with the others, and jointly provides the highest performance and lowest cost options in the market allowing our clients to save 40 to 80% on their mainframe workloads in as little as 90 days.
