Our passion is to help people have a healthy love for food. Not just an “I love shoving this food in my face” love for food. We want people to be unafraid to experiment and fail and succeed in the kitchen. We want people to use a knife or an oven or a grill or to boil water without fear that they’re going to cause harm. We want people to have a passion for trying things. New things. Fun things. Weird things. We want people to learn about and appreciate other cultures through their food. When I’ve been in Thailand, the quickest way to earn their friendship has been to love their food. Did you know in Morocco that the word for bread is the same as the word for life? And that they’re legally not allowed to cut bread with a knife because it’s too “violent an act for something as precious as bread”? We’re having so much fun learning about food and culture together. We want other people to share our joy.
