I am A private support worker, and I do in-home care, for Disability and Aged Care. I do all duty of care in all areas: Domestic Cleaning ( of the home), Transfers (Using of hoist - slide sheets), Transport Private car / Own Vehicle, Meal Preparations (cooking to your diet), Group meeting (catching up with friends or families or Co), Activities ( ages from 18 - 90 ), Community Access ( going to appointments, catching up with friends, shopping, and more), Animal care ( taking care of your animal if you have one), Personal care ( showing, bathing, dressing undressing, brush of hair teeth, shaving, Admin medicine, where the client can self-admin "pending", nail clipping of fingers "pending") Nanny care ( looking after children from birth to), Sleepovers, ( Sleepovers duty of care), Liable & flexible, ( always on time, unless the unexpected happens coming to a shift, will call to communicate), special needs, ( something that I have not done, and going to be trained for it), maintenance of equipment,( Wheelchair, hoists, vehicle, all the equipment belonging to the client), Respect, ( must respect clients at all times), confidentiality, ( basically shut your mouth at all times about clients Life), there is much more but this is my start.
