TMO - Taboo Monitoring Office / Tabumentes Ország is a non-partisan platform based in Budapest, led by the objective of establishing a respectful, open, and argumentative culture of public discourse in Hungary and Europe.
Our aim is to create and maintain a platform open to public debates between civic, academic, and political actors from differing ideological backgrounds.
We see this mission as a crucial task in conserving and improving the cohesion of various democratic societies.
Recently TMO successfully conducted 22 debates in 22 districts as part of the first national primary elections in Hungary.
