TachoTimer.3 is a driver's assistant that allows to use a “ONE MINUTE RULE” for driving time extension using a digital tachograph. WHAT IS “ONE MINUTE RULE” Each digital tachograph saves on the driver card the state of every minute that is prevailing in it. If in a given minute there are 29 seconds of driving time and 31 seconds of rest time, then the whole minute will be included in the rest time, and the tachograph will not register driving on the driver card just the rest time. THIS WAY, ACCORDING TO THE REGULATIONS, EACH TACHOGRAPH HAS BEEN BUILT TachoTimer.3 was created to help drivers use above features repeatedly, by selecting the most appropriate operating mode: • 29 seconds / every single minute – for short drives • 58 seconds / every two minutes for a slightly longer interval than the above TachoTimer.3 allows you to extend the driving time and will enable you to a short drive. The working time of truck drivers is strictly regulated, this is due to road safety and the risk of overwork as the cause of many road accidents. Therefore, this law must be strictly respected! However, life has shown that there are situations where regulations prevent you from completing your daily work on time. For these reason European Commission has provided the “Social Law in Road Transport - Guideline No. 3” for the possibility of interrupting both breaks and rests under strict conditions, it may be sufficient to interrupt the break and rest only on the instructions of the competent authority or terminal staff authorized to give instructions for the movement of the vehicle on: • Terminal (loading/unloading) • Car park • Border crossing • Other places "in case of emergency".
