Tailift is a global top-20 manufacturer of industrial machine tools and IC and electric forklifts. In 2014, Tailift sold a stake in its forklift operations to Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), and the two companies announced the business had been spun off into a jointly operated venture. A period of research is now underway as TICO look to implement their TPS and Just In Time systems, and develop access to the market through Tailift’s 120+-strong dealer network. In the meantime, Tailift continues to develop its product range, with the latest set of upgrades to the 9L Plus Series aimed at providing greater levels of comfort and performance to this simple, value range. The future of all our product ranges is in very good hands, and whilst the investment by TICO will result in continued product development, we remain committed to a policy of developing competitively-priced equipment that offers robust, long-lasting productivity. In the UK, we also are committed to maintaining a full demonstration fleet, new trucks for immediate delivery, fast order-processing times and industry-leading levels of responsiveness and communication.
