Talaash is an Urdu word that stands for Search, curiosity, experiment, exploration, inquiry, inquisition, penetration, etc. We are located in one of India’s most magnificent historic cities, i.e. Delhi, where the past and present seamlessly coalesce and become a spectacle. In the year 2019, the vision of TALAASH was brought to life by a group of young professionals with expertise in diverse fields and consists of a Team for ARCHAEOLOGY, LINGUISTICS ANTHROPOLOGY, ARTS, SANSKRIT, HISTORY & HERITAGE. The founding members in 2021 jointly registered an organization with a national reputation dedicated to empowering and educating diverse groups and communities through artistic and pedagogical interventions.
TALAASH HERITAGE functions as a multi-faceted cultural agency that specialises in helping museums, archives, and cultural institutions such as public and private collections understand their strengths, identify opportunities and work in new ways. Our services comprise Research, Documentation, Archiving, Collection Management, Conservation, Exhibitions and Project Development. We assist museums and cultural institutions in increasing the public benefit of their assets - their people, collections, buildings, skills, networks, and knowledge and provide organised management. As a part of our initiative, we also organise public engagement activities and focus on sustainable tourism, heritage walks, exhibitions, encyclopaedia publication, lectures, workshops, seminars, skill development, advanced education and outreach programmes. We believe that with the help of these pedagogical tools, we can promote and facilitate artistic and socio-cultural learning experiences among individuals. TALAASH is constantly growing and extending its reach in allied fields such as consultancy, digital marketing, and, one of its kind, the online heritage store.
