My State of Mind is an international branch of the Philippine based non-profit Talang Dalisay. It’s a worldwide youth run organization currently in over 10 countries worldwide.
Talang Dalisay in Tagalog translates to “Pure Star.” It’s a non-profit organization founded in Manila, Philippines centering on mental health for and by the Filipino youth. It started in the year 2015 and grew ever since. The organization currently has over 300+ youth members around the Philippines. It’s accredited and recognized by the National Youth Commission in the Philippines and the Mental Health Innovation Network’s (MHN) Global Community of Innovators based in London & Geneva.
My State of Mind was inspired by the idea to spread the mental health advocacy to new borders outside the Philippines, starting with the United States. Our founder, Macy Lee, started My State of Mind as a college freshman in Northern California. Since then, it grew to different parts of the globe and will continue to do so in the future.
