Talent Lab Program

The Talent Lab - Career Skills Program was a pilot digital literacy and career readiness initiative designed to equip young people in the development sector with the practical skills needed to thrive in today’s workforce. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, our program focuses on creating opportunities for youth to develop essential skills for the future. Our aim was to help young people in Lusaka upskill in digital tools, online communication, data literacy, and workplace collaboration through peer sharing. Targeting young people with little to no work experience, our program prepares them for internships and entry-level positions. Through a combination of in-person and online sessions, participants develop real-world skills, culminating in a final collaborative project Our mission was to bridge the gap between education and employment, empowering the next generation of professionals to succeed in a digitally-driven world.
