Talisman Energy

The acquisition of Talisman by Spanish integrated energy company Repsol was finalized on May 8th, 2015. The combined company will become one of the largest privately-owned oil and gas players in the world, present in high-potential growth markets worldwide Talisman is committed to conducting its business safely and in an ethically, socially and environmentally responsible manner. The company is a participant in the United Nations Global Compact. Talisman was the first Canadian company to join the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights Plenary Group developed by the United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) governments.
