Talkingbirth is a healthtech company with a mission to transform the way women partner with their care providers for shared decision making throughout maternity care. Founded in 2020 by two midwives passionate about making a difference to the experience and outcomes of pregnancy. Designed to enable opportunities for women to partner with their care providers for shared decision making throughout pregnancy, birth and early parenting. Created by clinicians working in Maternity services who understand the needs of health professionals, women and their families, as they navigate pregnancy care. Shared decision making unites a women’s values, preferences, and goals for pregnancy care with the best available evidence about benefits, risks and uncertainties, to establish the most appropriate approach to care for every woman and her baby.
