Talos Recycling is a proactive business, that strives to develop and improve the UK waste infrastructure in order to provide our customers with flexibility in achieving their environmental and sustainability goals in packaging waste handling and recycling. Talos is the sister Company of Marpak who supply polythene and plastic sheeting to a multitude of UK and European Customers including the UK glass suppliers to which we have close links. We aim to provide our Customer’s with the opportunity to avoid the tax on plastic as next year (April 22) the government looks as though it is moving towards producer and brand responsibility, whereby wherever possible companies and brand owners should put in place procedures to recover plastics in order to close the loop and promote the principles of the circular economy. We offer a nationwide collection service that includes free consultation on ‘best practice waste plastic handling’ so that our state-of-the-art re-granulating machinery installed at our Leeds premises can operate the mechanical process to an optimum efficiency.
