TAMAN BACAAN PEMUDA PEMUDI MELAYU SINGAPURA

Started with the sole purpose of uplifting the Malay community past all the prevailing prejudices and self imposed limitations of the Malay community in a Singapore rising from underdeveloped state to a modern first world developed nation. Taman Bacaan has always been multi faceted in its approach and always on the heels of challenges identified by the State in respect of the minority progression in the Singapore society. Taman Bacaan did not shy away from issues but faced all challenges head on. TAMAN BACAAN embraced change but did not alienate its community in bringing it up. Over the years this has been with repeated leadership identification of the progress of the Malay community in Singapore. The Government had over the years identified various fields where the Malays as a community was seriously lacking including education and all things associated with modern living. TAMAN BACAAN remained at the forefront of such issues but keeping a low profile on its work not without seeking any limelight or credit as its only focus was to uplift the community. We believe that everyone can play a role in helping others.
