The Tamarind Collection restaurant group owns and operates four famous restaurants in London and Newport Beach USA, along with a division of Tamarind Events Catering.Each of our restaurants is very individual and celebrates the very best of traditional and modern Indian cuisine. The group was established in 1995 with the opening of Tamarind restaurant in Mayfair, which was the first fine dining Indian restaurant in the world to receive a Michelin star. Zaika joined the ranks of Tamarind Collection in 2012. And after a complete renovation in 2014, the reimagined Zaika is ready to welcome guests with a menu that features all the usual favourites and some new ones. The group also diversified into Tamarind Events and our successful outside catering operation has served high profile clients including Asia House, Grant Thornton. Tamarind Events are the preferred caterer at number of prestigious venues in the UK, including Lords Cricket Ground, English Heritage and the Science Museum.
