Tamart is a new furniture brand from London-based architect Amos Goldreich, who is bringing to life the work of his parents: designer Tamar De Shalit and architect, artist, and activist Arthur Goldreich.
The tale of Tamart begins with the love story of Tamar and Arthur, which blossomed in the 1950s in London and resonated through artistic expression in Israel during the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. Their creative synergy played a pivotal role in shaping Israel’s early aesthetics, leaving an indelible mark on the design landscape. In 2024, Tamart steps onto the global stage with its debut collection, ready to captivate audiences at Milan Design Week with a carefully curated selection of reissued mid-century wooden furniture pieces. These designs were originally crafted for esteemed hospitality projects such as the iconic ‘70s Red Sea Club
and notable private residences,
including Sir Charles Clore’s
penthouse.
