Tamini is an Italian company, world leader for the design and production of industrial, power and special transformers. Founded in 1916 in Milan, Tamini supplies its products to the most important industrial customers in energy-intensive industries (steel, aluminum, mining, oil & gas, chemical and transport) and to the most qualified players in the electricity industry (generation, transmission and distribution of energy). In 2014 Tamini joined the Terna Group and since 2018 Tamini has been part of Terna Energy Solutions, Terna’s company focused on industrial customers, offering specialised expertise and solutions in the Energy Services and Connectivity sectors with a strategic long‑term vision. With a century of experience and an extensive market research, Tamini combines the quality of the products, designed internally and handcrafted, with the unmatched expertise of Made in Italy, according to the customer’s requirements and needs. During these years, more than 10,000 transformers have been manufactured and installed for customers in more than 90 countries around the world. Nowadays, Tamini owns five manufacturing plants in Italy and operates as well through its own subsidiaries in the U.S. and India, with over 60% of company turnover coming from exports.
