Tamizha

About Tamizha Established in 2012, Tamizha is a Tamil language and cultural club by a group of undergraduate students from Singapore Management University. We registered as a legitimate government body under the Registry of Societies (ROS) in 2019. Being a student-initiated Tamil organization, Tamizha aims to provide a platform for all members of the Tamil community to appreciate the Tamil language and culture, as well as the opportunity to give back to society. We strive to promote the Tamil arts and culture scene in Singapore through various activities as well as to identify, encourage and cultivate cultural and literary talents of the Tamil community. Mission We aim to promote interest, knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of the Tamil language and cultural values by serving local and international communities through various Community Involvement Programs. We also aspire to identify, encourage and cultivate the cultural and literary talents of the Tamil community. Vision Our vision is to develop individuals who have the heart to serve and act as critical thinkers in understanding and tackling key issues faced by the Tamil community in Singapore.
