Tamrexin tarina sai alkunsa jo vuonna 1978 Tampereella sammuttimien myynnillä. Tuote- ja palveluvalikoima on kasvanut vuosien varrella huomattavasti ja tänä päivänä tavoitteenamme on luoda kokonaisvaltaisesti turvallinen ympäristö niin työpaikoilla kuin kotiinkin. Haluamme tarjota parhaat vaihtoehdot työvaatteita ja -kenkiä, työturvallisuuden ja paloturvallisuusalan tuotteita ja palveluita kaikille, jotka arvostavat turvallisuuden lisäksi laatua, toiminnallisuutta ja mukavuutta.

Suomen Tamrexin päämyymälä ja -konttori sijaitsevat Tampereella Lielahdessa. Muut Suomen myymälät sijaitsevat Tampereella Nekalassa, Hämeenlinnassa, Porissa, Porvoossa, Turussa, Lahdessa, Lappeenrannassa, Kotkassa, Oulussa, Vantaalla ja Espoossa . Tamrex Oy on osa Tamrex-konsernia, jonka pääkonttori sijaitsee Tallinnassa. Konsernin laaja myymäläverkosto kattaa tällä hetkellä yhteensä 45 myymälää sekä verkkokaupat neljässä eri maassa, Virossa, Suomessa, Latviassa ja Liettuassa.
