The programme includes empowering , supporting, giving knowledge and enabling the next generation of change makers , tech gurus and problem solvers in the technology industry Tnie codes ORG is a newly established non-profit organisation based in the townships of soweto, Gauteng , SA . The program is for disadvantaged youths especially girls who would like to be exposed to the technology industry , learn more about the career opportunities in it and acquire literacy skills . Tanie codes org's mission is to educate girls about various fields in Technology and also teaching the basic skills needed. We don't only inform but we make sure that we give a positive impact by actually giving lessons on basic computer/digital skills like Microsoft suit . We also give introductions to actual programming and coding to make sure we equip the girls with tangible skills which they can actually use is work environments . We have made sure our programmes cater to the evolving digital world and that the skills they learn stay relevant in our society As an organisation based in the township, we know exactly what out society lacks and how we can improve the quality of skills that a girl child can acquire. Statistics have continually shown how the rate of unemployment increases each year (Experts say youth unemployment in South Africa remains stubbornly high with young people between the ages of 15 and 24 accounting for 66.5% of the unemployed in the fourth quarter of 2021) one of the reasons being they lack the skills that are in demand most being computer skills and entrepreneurial skills that's why Tanie codes is skills-based ORG to help bridge the gap that has caused most youth to become jobless
