Tapio is a synthetic asset protocol which is designed to unify the countless Ethereum LSDs and standardize the rewards and fee handling - with our intent to not only on benefit users in terms of yield, but also LSD protocols directly.
Tapio's premiere product is tapETH, a synthetic asset that is backed by stable pools of LSDs and native ETH - allowing for solid price stability, excellent DeFi utility, and some of the best base APR on ETH in the ecosystem, but earning holders staking rewards (from the underlying LSDs) and protocol fees from swaps, redemptions and more as time goes on.
Our mission is to serve as the "middleware" for ETH liquidity between liquid staking protocols - and downstream applications within DeFi, regardless of ecosystem. We intend to incentivise loyal users and holders of our assets - however our focus is real yield above all else - generating fees as a protocol, and returning them to users.
