Tapped is a mobile application designed for iOS and Android that was developed to raise the overall level of service in the hospitality industry. We were founded with this mission in mind: To inspire and recognize quality service in bars and restaurants around the globe. The user-friendly design allows customers of bars and restaurants to leave their feedback for their server or bartender. We were inspired to create Tapped after noticing a decline in service that seemed to stem from a lack of passion and enthusiasm from bartenders and servers. We aim to reinvigorate that passion by creating a platform where servers and bartenders can see the dedication to their craft appreciated by the guests they interact with each day. It’s very easy to identify some of the best food in town, but the food is only half of the restaurant experience. We aim to illuminate and praise the other side of the restaurant experience, the side we have all written off as unimportant, the service. 1 in 10 people in the United States work in the hospitality industry and it's time we start identifying and rewarding the superstars of this industry.
