As an original equipment manufacturer we offer a comprehensive mechanical-design advice, prototyping and product testing service to ensure that their thread inserts specified, will exceed customer requirements even in critical conditions.
With typically over 35 million standard thread inserts in stock and the capability to quickly manufacture both bespoke designs and/or modify our extensive generic range of thread inserts to suit customer applications. Tappex have been exporting their fastening products around the world for 30 years including supply to OEMs, their supply chains either directly or through appointed Technical distributors / 3rd-party agents.
Tappex fastening products include: Brass, Steel & Stainless steel threaded inserts / compression limiters in a wide variety of styles , geometries, sizes, thread-forms & installation methods such as mould-in, press in & self-threading. These thread inserts are particularly suitable for Thermoplastics, Thermoset, Woods, Laminates & Light Alloy metals. Tappex also manufacture Compression-limiters(Anti-Creep/Fatique), Bulge control rivet nuts (for thin sheet / brittle plastics) & Thread-forming screws.
