TAQA Power’s diversified list of clients, spreads from real estate projects in Cairo including Emaar, Cairo Festival City and other significant residential compounds to major industrial zones including Al Motawereen in 6th October and other industrial zones in 10th of Ramadan industrial area. TAQA Power is also the first privately owned company licensed to distribute power in the South Sinai touristic area since 2000. With the increased need to shift to a more sustainable source of energy, TAQA Power established a new Renewable Energy arm through its integrated service approach. TAQA Solar another SPV that falls under the umbrella of TAQA Power, has been the first 100% Egyptian company to finalize a 65MW PV solar power plant in Benban (Aswan)-part of one of the biggest PV solar parks in the world. The project is under the Egyptian government’s feed- in traffic program and started commercial operation in Feb 2019.
