Taranaki Foundation is the charitable foundation established for Taranaki, our people and the causes that are important to us.
Our purpose is to inspire a culture of giving and sharing in Taranaki. Through giving we positively impact the community buy building an even better future for all Taranaki people. We work closely with all parts of the local community with a big focus on partnering with our professional community and trusted advisers to deliver outcomes and create impact, together.
We’re part of a network of Community Foundations that have been growing around Aotearoa New Zealand since 2003. Community foundations focus on building long term endowments. While this a core focus, we are also branching out into community projects, workplace giving and other exciting initiatives – to create impact now as well as the future. Ultimately connecting donors and partners with the projects and causes they’re passionate about.
Through the coordination of the Community Foundations of New Zealand (our national body), we’re all working to provide resources that will make a lasting difference in our local communities. Our aim is for every New Zealander to be able to affect lasting change wherever their home or heart may be.
