Tarnea iRevo is an App dedicated to pharma retail, created by Tarnea, a technology company working for the digitally underserved segments, focused on fulfilling the IT needs of small and independent retailers. The App is now used by thousands of retailers across 92 plus locations, to reach out to an increasingly digitally literate user base. Pharmacies can now reach out to customers using Google, Facebook and Instagram, along with their own custom website, which can be hosted in minutes. All this for as low as Rs.20 per day. Tarnea, founded in July 2010 and headquartered in Bangalore, has its Product Development Centre at the Thiagarajar College of Engineering campus in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The company sees a huge potential in partnering the digital journeys of millions of retailers, across segments. Tarnea’s founders, Suresh Satyamurthy and Madhav Sitaraman command over 30 years of experience each in building IT products and solutions for companies around the world. ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, Tarnea has been selected as one of the top ventures globally by Microsoft Inc. into its Accelerator Program and has been the subject of a case study by IIM, Bangalore. The case study was also published by the Harvard Business Review.
