A scissor, a cutting table, a lockstitch, an overlock machine and two hand-knitting machines were the minimum equipment needed to run a small knitting production workshop in 1961 by a 23-year- old boy. It was provided to lay the foundation for TARTAN. Fifty years later, in 2011, Tartan was officially registered in Iran in the field of accessory ( scarf, hat and gloves) by the second generation of families.
But this time the use of Japanese knitting machines technology that could integrate garment production minimised the need for scissors and cutting table.

یک قیچی ، یک میز برش ، دو دستگاه بافندگی دستی ، یک دستگاه راسته دوزی و یک دستگاه زیگزال پدالی حداقل تجهیزات مورد نیاز برای راه اندازی یک کارگاه کوچک بافندگی در سال ۱۳۴۰ بود که توسط یک جوان ۲۳ ساله با هفت سال تجربه در آن سال فراهم شد.
این بنیان اولیه برند تارتن بود.
پنجاه سال بعد یعنی در سال ۱۳۹۰ برند تارتن توسط نسل دوم خانواده به صورت رسمی در کشور ایران در حوزه اکسسوری
( شال کلاه ، دست پوش ، روسری و...) به ثبت رسید.
اما این بار استفاده از ماشین آلات بافندگی ژاپنی که قابلیت تولید پوشاک به صورت اینتگرال را داشتند نیاز به قیچی و میز برش را به حداقل رساندند.
