Tasman Environmental Trust’s (TET) vision is to help create and maintain healthy, diverse ecosystems woven through the Nelson Tasman landscape. So we work with local community conservation groups to raise their profile, expand their reach and access specialist skills and resources. We help link individuals to projects, and projects to like-minded organisations.
With a proven track record of supporting large-scale projects over the long term, Tasman Environmental Trust has built up a web of connections spanning local and central government agencies, iwi and funding organisations. But we’re also here for the micro-groups; those often-invisible volunteers who work so hard to remediate their own, special section of creek, valley or coastline.
