Our team of wine lovers are responsible for the brands Franklin Tate Estates, Miles From Nowhere and Small World. We appreciate the youthfulness and isolation of the South West region and the abundant opportunity this landscape presents.
FAMILY FIRST: We are a business that owes a great deal of our history to the importance of family and honouring and respecting those closest to us. Our love of family makes us great storytellers and we pay our tribute wherever possible.

A SEAT FOR EVERYONE: We pride ourselves on having an inclusive and friendly team. We are wine producers and (arguably more importantly) dog lovers. Dogs are always welcome and have a seat at the Tate family table.
Franklin Tate spent several years looking for the best sites in Margaret River, with the quality balance and diversity in the soils, as well as capability to reduce yield and concentrate flavours. Only the best grapes are considered for inclusion in our wines. Others simply don’t make the grade.
