Tate92 is a Value Added Distributor (VAD) in the original sense in that the VAD terminology was created by our founder to distinguish from the technology Distributors that existed at that time. Over the years all Distributors rebranded themselves as VADs.
The Value Add at the time of starting the first VAD many years ago, was high level of technical skill set required for integrating different types of technologies, eg integrating X-windows servers with Reuters Terminal Software or supporting multi-protocol networks using a single network card which at the time came with many challenges.
Today the challenges are different. They are not about networking but securing networks and business assets. This is where Tate92 offers the difference and is much more a VAD with the original Value Add concept, eg if you are shifting from Google to Oracle cloud computing, we will not just sell and support a CNAPP solution, but also maintain enough expertise to help you integrate our Cloud Security solution specifically with the OCI environment your setup requires.
That is our Value Add and that is what sets us apart from regular VAD currently on the market. In fact we have gone one step further hence our referring to ourselves as VADD.
