Taus

Taus is a Copenhagen-based ready-to-wear and demi-couture label founded in 2024 by Freyja Taus and Juho Lehiö. Rooted in tailoring, craftsmanship, and storytelling, we create garments that honor process, heritage, and identity. Our work is driven by a commitment to thoughtful production and a curiosity for the historical and cultural narratives embedded in clothing. We focus on ethical practices, utilizing deadstock and vintage materials, and collaborating with skilled European artisans to create pieces that are as enduring as they are expressive. At Taus, we challenge convention while valuing tradition. Each collection is a reflection on power structures, personal memory, and the relationship between the human and the natural. Through our garments, we aim to foster dialogue around sustainability, artistry, and what it means to dress with intention.
