Taxi Dog Educational Program

Taxi Dog Educational Program is a non-profit organization, incorporated in the state of New York that seeks to advance social and emotional learning through developing and distributing evidence-based classroom programming. The Taxi Dog Program builds young learners’ social and emotional skills, and helps teachers and students create more caring, productive classroom environments, leading to success in school and life. Drawing from research in the field of social and emotional learning (SEL), including self-regulation and empathy development, the Taxi Dog Program offers a fun, multi-sensory, interdisciplinary experience that enables teachers to engage students in learning foundational SEL skills. Taxi Dog is a collaborative effort between educational advisors, curriculum writers, researchers, and experienced television producers, committed to bridging entertainment and education, in order to help students become more compassionate and resilient.
