Sexton & Company, LLC is a Connecticut appellate litigation firm that concentrates on state and federal appeals, as well as appellate consultation. In addition to our appellate work, we also evaluate and litigate school law and special education claims. Sexton & Company was founded on the idea that it is better to do several things well than to try to be all things to all people. We are appellate lawyers. We understand the dynamics of the appeal process and the often subtle differences between a compelling appellate argument and an unpersuasive retelling of the same arguments that won or lost at trial. We practice primarily in state and federal appellate courts, and we write, teach and lecture in the area of appellate advocacy.
