TAZ studio

TAZ Studio is a multi-disciplinary design studio founded by Architect Ezzat Taz, who has built a successful career as an architect while also teaching Architecture Design at the American University in Cairo. Ezzat has a background in design and filmmaking, with a focus on urban issues translated into cinema. Taz has also shared his expertise as a guest speaker and jury member at numerous academic institutions worldwide, as well as participated in regional and international projects from micro scale to macro scale. A key belief is the importance of considering narratives. By addressing every aspect of a project comprehensively, Ezzat designs spaces that make people feel at ease and welcomed by their environment. Essential to this approach is a thorough comprehension of how a space will be utilized. TAZ studio is engaged in a wide range of projects, from large-scale developments to smaller, more intricate designs in the commercial, retail, office, and residential sectors. Our approach involves creating unique interior architecture concepts inspired by the client's tales and narration, ultimately defining each project's distinctive architectural terminology that highlights the connection between intangible concepts and physical spaces.
