Tau Beta Pi Puerto Rico Alpha

Tau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession. The Puerto Rico Alpha Chapter at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez is dedicated to recognizing and promoting excellence in engineering. Founded in alignment with the national society's mission, our chapter seeks to honor those who have demonstrated distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as students in engineering, or through their achievements as alumni in the engineering field. As part of a network that now includes active collegiate chapters at 257 US colleges and universities, the Puerto Rico Alpha Chapter is committed to fostering a spirit of liberal culture within the engineering community. We actively engage in initiatives that enhance professional development, encourage community service, and build lasting connections among our members. Our chapter strives to uphold the values of Tau Beta Pi by contributing positively to both the university and the broader engineering profession.
