HISTORY
A full service architecture, planning and interiors firm located in Tacoma’s historic Stadium District, TCF Architecture has been planning, designing and administering the construction of public and private projects throughout Washington State and beyond since 1960. Originally founded by Jim Harris, TCF Architecture as a firm has evolved over time to enjoy a successful history in serving diverse clients. While each era of the firm has seen remarkable changes in the way architectural services are delivered, our leadership has remained consistently committed to improving the public realm. Today, Principals Brian Ho, Steve Wachtler, Mark Hurley and Holli Smith take great pride in leading the firm through the next era by continually striving to improve the communities TCF serves.

As a team of hard-working, creative people we take pride in personal involvement with projects to provide clients with quality, professional design services. Our studio, a turn-of-the-century former dance school, inspires the creative environment in which we blend our complementary talents to deliver a diverse portfolio of work.
