TCPavements was founded in 2007 to develop, market and license a revolutionary invention for the design and construction of concrete pavements worldwide.
TCPavements is a Chilean company that developed and patented the Thin Concrete Pavement (TCP) Design Concept. The key principle of this design method for highways, roads, distribution and industrial parking lots, among others, is to select the slab size so that not more than one set of wheels are on any given slab at one time, thereby minimizing the critical top tensile stress. The TCP design Technology allows a thinner concrete pavement solution with a significant lower construction cost that those designed in a traditional way, for the same load solicitation and traffic.
